Brad Pitt is returning to one of his most memorable roles. A new trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth brings his stuntman turned Hollywood fixer into 1977 Los Angeles, eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
There is a notable change behind the camera. Quentin Tarantino wrote the new screenplay, while David Fincher directs. The trailer places Cliff in a Hollywood where he picks up work as a bartender and projectionist, then gets drawn into solving problems for people in the film industry.
The pairing is an intriguing one. Cliff’s easygoing presence made him a standout in the earlier film; Fincher’s direction could take the character into darker territory. For viewers, the question is how much of the old Cliff remains as the city around him changes.
Netflix says the film will begin an exclusive two-week IMAX run on November 25, 2026, before arriving on Netflix on December 23, 2026. The announced cast also includes Peter Weller, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.
