Prolonged rains affected fields, homes and local school attendance.
According to Tuấn Trị News on September 26, 2026, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds from September 19 to 25 caused more than 4,200 hectares of rice in Ca Mau to be flooded. Many areas of flowers and dozens of homes were also affected.
In Khanh Binh Commune, about 4,000 students from preschool to middle school had to leave school on September 25 to ensure safety, as prolonged rains caused many roads to be deeply flooded.
